Workshops

Science on Stage provide workshop support in three main ways:

(Charging is based on £50 an hour plus expenses and materials)

Staff Workshops

By providing in-service training to groups of teachers who wish to develop their own creative skills.

Training is also offered for any groups who wish to explore different approaches to team building or who wish to develop creative skills

Music training for pupils

By visiting schools who wish to take part in the big shows to work with groups or individual performers on developing their singing...Jon is particularly good at this

Science workshops for pupils

We work with Key Stage 1 & 2 children, involving them in experiments, group activity, art work, creative writing and singing based on our book ‘Munchin & Crunchin’ which deals with food relationships in the plant and animal kingdoms

As above, but using other subject content either based on the school’s requirements (with some notice) or material we have used previously i.e.

• Ancient World Technology (fire plus lifting and moving mechanisms)
• Combustion
• Lifting gases
